Title: The Ageing Well Literature Database Final Report Date: 11/2005
Description:
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC)/Australian Research Council (ARC) Research Network in Ageing Well recently engaged the Centre for Research and Education in Ageing (CREA) at the University of Newcastle to develop a literature database of ageing research publications. The initiative aims to promote and progress research in the Network’s four priority theme areas. A progress report was submitted in September 2005.
This report outlines the development and outcomes of the first iteration of literature searches, and is the final report for this project.  Download

Title: Longitudinal studies of ageing: Implications for future studies Date: 23/11/2004
Description:
The Longitudinal studies of ageing: Implications for future studies report comissioned by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and prepared by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare describes and compares existing and proposed Australian longitudinal surveys relevant to ageing, in respect of their methodological features and data collection scope. It also compares these features of Australian studies with some well-established overseas studies. The report is a mapping exercise intended to be a practical resource for informing future efforts to address ageing research needs in Australia.   Download

Title: Australian Ageing Research Directory 2000 Date: 10/10/2003
Description:
The Australian Ageing Research Directory 2000 is the sixth edition of this publication. Compiled from 1997 to 2000, the Directory includes some 731 project entries from 202 research organisations and involving 1,192 different principal or co-researchers. The launch of Ageing Research Onlines marks the development of version seven of the Directory, which in its new electronic and interactive design and implementation will be more up-to-date, more searchable and more relevant to Australia's ageing research and policy community.   Download
