Dementia Research Grants Program

The Dementia Research Grants Program aims to improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers through research into identified gaps in applied and translational dementia research. The program aims to achieve this through the establishment of multi-disciplinary, multi-sectoral research programs and by supporting areas of dementia research that focus on practical applications of evidence based research.

The eight projects below were funded in round 1 and round 2 is currently underway. The majority of the funded projects are entered on the ARO - where the links appear, clicking on the title of the project will take you to the research entry.

More information on the Dementia Research Grants Program can be found on the NHMRC website.
